Das Werk Berlin
"long
medium short endless" is the name of the concept which the design
office Martini, Meyer developed for the Berlin headquarters of the
postproduction Das Werk AG. The play with proportions, perspectives,
gravitation and infinity characterise the entire premises in the Chausseestrasse
in Berlin Mitte, opened in June 2001. What might sound playful is
in reality indeed highly functional: a postproduction for advertising
and film needs optimised circumstances for their complex work. The
particular concept, "long medium short endless" optimises
sequences inside the space in order do enable smooth operations. |
